Our Bell IV full mallet Side Saddle putter (390 grams head weight) right-handed side-saddle putter is 100% CNC milled from 303 Stainless Steel billets. It features a heel-toe-weighted full mallet putter design in a side-saddle (face-on) style putter.

The side-saddle, often called a face-on putter, provides a putting stroke that helps with the “Yips” so common for older golfers. Sam Snead was known for using the Side-Saddle technique, which helped increase its popularity in the golfing world. The USGA initially ruled the Side-Saddle putter non-conforming, but it was later approved and allowed in USGA tournaments.

The full-mallet side saddle putter 77 degrees lie angle is upright and complies with  USGA Guidelines to allow usage in USGA events. The side-saddle putter is often the answer for the senior player with back pain from practice putting with standard length putters.  Unlike standard length and contemporary broom style putting strokes, the Side Saddle is designed to have both feet pointed to the target line and the golf ball is outside of your right foot for the right-handed golfer.  However, you may also putt in a more traditional putting stance.

We make the only side-saddle putters milled from 303 Stainless Steel in the USA! Side Saddle assembled with Winn Two-Piece Putter grip.  A good illustration is found in YouTube videos of Sam Snead putting with a Side Saddle style of putter. Features a 5" gap between upper and lower grips.  Bowlers often like side saddled putting as the putting technique is very similar.
