Collection: Side-Saddle Putters

The Side Saddle putter made popular by Sam Snead is very similar to today's Broom style putters.  Side Saddle putters popularity has continue to grow over several years.  Initially declared non-conforming, but later approved for use in USGA and PGA events.   Golfers with bad backs often like the Side Saddle or Face-On stroke.  The side saddle also allows the player’s head to see both the ball and the cup without moving or pivoting the head during the stroke.  For a growing number of golfers the side saddle is the answer for the yips.  Bowlers often like side saddle putting as the technique is similar.  Putter length of 43" to 45" is very common for Side Saddle putters.  Please see the chart below for Side Saddle putter length recommendations.
